Garalt Name:  King Garalt
Race:  Human
Age:  52
Height:  5'8"
Rank:  High ruler of all Ikros
Choice Weapon:  Battle Axe of the Flame
Background:  King Garalt started his career as a Knight under the Legendary King Ulmerad.  He was originally the squire under Sir Kullvox, and soon began his now famous journey to save Ikros.  During his journey he learned of his birth parents, and that he was actually raised by another couple.  His father was a great and powerful Triark Dragoon, and his mother was a gifted Paladin of Huldrain.  Knowing of his lineage, Garalt sought to awaken his hidden talents, and eventually gained the abilities of both a Dragoon and a Paladin.  Using his abilities, and the group of allies he had met along the way, Garalt successfully gathered three of the four immortal dragons and defeated the fourth and most evil dragon.  He and his allies were also was able to rout the forces of the Council as well as undermine the coup against King Ulmerad.  Previously winning the favor of the Princess, and then winning that of the King's, Garalt soon married his love Princess Alyia.  After King Ulmerad's death, Garalt and Alyia gave birth to their son, Garadaine, and then their daughter Kiana.  It was then that Queen Allamir gave her throne to Garalt and Alyia.  King Garalt lead his people further into the prosperous times that Queen Allamir had begun, but he proved to be not as great as his predecessors.  He is quite aware of his shortcomings  though, and willingly gives his wife the final say on most decisions.  Militaristically, however, Garalt was very gifted, and won the favor and respect of all his soldiers and knights.  The loss of his daughter, Kiana, to a band or Orcs began a much more aggressive military stance of the Ikrosian army.  Garalt King Garalt declared that all Orcs and other malevolent beings be either exiled or exterminated altogether.  Though this was not an unpopular move, it did raise some concerns among the people about their King's state of mind, concerns that remain to this day.  King Garalt has taken command of every large campaign against the Orcish hordes, though the hordes are too disorganized to pose a threat to even the most junior of Ikros' generals.
Character:  King Garalt was once a very jovial and rather care free individual in his youth.  He became much more serious and reserved during his trials to save his country, but he seemed to recover once it was all over.  Being a hero as he was, King Garalt was a very popular and well loved ruler, and it seemed he could do no wrong.  However, with the loss of Princess Kiana, his close friends and loved ones marked a sharp change in their ruler's character.  He had returned to his serious and reserved tone that he had gained during the Immortal War, and even more so than before.  King Garalt is now rather unapproachable and razor tongued, and if it weren't for his charismatic wife, his rule would fall under question.  Though he does show some glimpses of tenderness and kindness once in a while, especially to Queen Alyia, Prince Garadaine and Sir Kullvox, they are not often.

Alyia Name:  Queen Alyia
Race:  Human
Age:  48
Height:  5'6"
Rank:  High ruler of all Ikros
Choice Weapon:  Her Husband
Background:  Much of Queen Alyia's youth was spent locked away from the world in Ikros Capitol where it was safe from the Council's forces.  After Garalt was injured at the fall of the Tower of Olyian, then Princess Alyia joined the knight in his journey to his home town.  During the trip, Garalt learned of his true parents, and from then on, Princess Alyia accompanied him on his now legendary quest.  She went so far as to don armor and carry a bow to aid her love and champion along the way.  Though she only played a minor role in the Immortal War, she was still witness to all the carnage it created.  Secretly, Queen Alyia swore to herself that Ikros would never fall into such a situation ever again.  After the close of the Immortal War, Alyia and Garalt were married, and she soon gave birth to her two children.  Though her children were her life, Queen Alyia also recognized the importance of aiding her husband upon the throne of Ikros, as she knew too well King Garalt was not quite the King Ulmerad was.  While she left all military actions and planning to her husband, all other matters were usually left up to her, and she has been a powerful ruler for Ikros.  Under her guidance roads have been built to connect unified Kahlan, cities have been rebuilt, public works projects of every shape and size have been implemented.  Ikros has never seen a ruler such as Queen Alyia.  When Princess Kiana was slain, Queen Alyia mourned for almost a full year, and not many new projects or actions created for Ikros.  But after her period of mourning, she poured herself into her work even further, so much so that much of the military, when not on campaign, are out working on buildings and fields to help finish the projects.
Character:  Queen Alyia is a kind, generous, and compassionate ruler.  She regularly takes trips out into the farmlands and villages of Ikros to talk with the people.  Some say she does so to better understand her people, others say it is just to get some distance between her and her aggressive husband.  Either way, it has kindled love from the people for her like no other Ikrosian monarch has had before, even more than her father, Ulmerad.  The death of her daughter saddened her greatly, but she refused to let it change her like it did Garalt.  The almost cold demeanor of her son, Garadaine, concerns her, but she is proud of all the good he has done for their world.  While he may not be as warm hearted as she is, Queen Alyia is convinced her son will make a great and powerful king one day.

Kullvox Name:  Sir Kullvox
Race:  Human
Age:  62
Height: 5'9"
Rank:  Commander of the Knights of the Lion's Crest and Chief Advisor to King Garalt
Choice Weapon:  Mace of the Water
Background:  Several years after he was knighted, Kullvox took on Garalt as his squire.  Training the boy into a young man was not overly difficult, and soon the two were fighting side by side.  Before the advent of the Immortal War, Kullvox was devoured and imprisoned inside the vilest of the four immortal dragons, and only after her defeat was he released.  He then took up arms and joined the forces of Ikros in defeating the minions of the Council, and then against the coup to overthrow King Ulmerad.  With the passing of Sir Haleron of the Old Guard, Sir Kullvox rose to the rank of Commander of the Knights of the Lion's Crest, and has been so ever since.  After the death of Princess Kiana, Kullvox was asked by Prince Garadaine to train him as he did his father, and in true form Kullvox accepted.  He has now stepped aside as teacher and now is merely an advisor to the Prince, as well as King Garalt.  Kullvox has spent much of his free time in the passed few years with Queen Allamir, and it has been said that the two found a love and companionship in each other that both desperately needed.  It is fitting, perhaps, since Kullvox has been 'Grandfather' ever since Garadaine was born.
Character:  Kullvox has been the pinnacle of knightly chivalry for many years now.  His sense of justice and virtue have been an inspiration to all who know him.  When he was a younger man, he was much more jovial an individual, but his time imprisoned inside the evil dragon Tel'Karak Zrahl, and the changes he has seen within his best friend and once pupil, King Garalt, has changed him.  He is now more reserved and serious than he once was, but will never turn down the opportunity to get in a good rib against his King when the mood is right.

Greylen Name:  Greylen
Race:  Human
Age:  51
Height: 5'4"
Rank:  Lord High Mage of Ikros and Chief Advisor to Queen Alyia
Choice Weapon:  Emerald Scepter and the Book of Relgwyn
Background:  Greylen never knew of his past, only that his mentor who trained him in the magical arts was a very powerful wizard.  After joining with Demonclaw, Greylen began searching out what exactly he was.  In the year before the Immortal War, the Necromancer Ethelred labeled Greylen as a Priest of Zaan, and he later learned of it's significance.  Greylen was the last of a great order of extremely powerful wizards who were charged in defeating the terrible Tel'Karak Zrahl.  After taking his part in the Immortal War, and guided by the mystical Book of Relgwyn, Greylen scoured the world searching for more answers.  During that time, Greylen grew in power far beyond anything anyone had yet seen a man go, and in fact could now obliterate a full battalion with one word.  His awesome powers have gone so far as to slow his aging, and in fact looks no older than he did in the last year of King Ulmerad's reign.  Lately he has spent several years rebuilding the lost order of the Priests of Zaan.  Though their original duty to destroy the immortal dragon is over, he has taken it upon himself to train his students in defending all people who are  in need.  His virtue and wisdom have been quite useful to Queen Alyia, and she has taken him on as her Chief Advisor.
Character:  In his youth, Greylen was once a very timid and self conscious individual, but that was then.  His power and prestige have transformed Greylen into a very self confident, brave, but not arrogant warrior.  Though he no longer needs his best friend Demonclaw to defend him any longer, he values the rogue's friendship more than anything.  Though Demonclaw frequently suggests he should be left behind for his inadequacies, Greylen will have none of it.

Demonclaw Name:  Sir Demonclaw
Race:  Human
Age:  54
Height: 5'9"
Rank:  Champion of Ikros
Choice Weapon:  Dual Clawed Staff
Background:  Demonclaw has spent the majority of his life along side his best friend Greylen.  He first met the wizard while with his life's love Vione, and after her murder, Demonclaw took Greylen along on a quest to revive her.  While on that quest, the two met Garalt, and soon found themselves wrapped up in the great Immortal War.  During these days, Demonclaw was the more powerful of the two men, defending Greylen from any trouble that got in their way.  However, after receiving his mystical book, Greylen quickly outgrew Demonclaw's services.  Demonclaw soon found himself in a position of observing the events that he took part in.
Character:  Demonclaw is a powerful fighter.  His large staff requires him to wear little restrictive armor in order to use it, so he relies on stealth and speed to get the job done.  His skills as a warrior are superb, but pale in comparison to his comrade Greylen.  He is an egotistical man, but knows how to use it to his advantage.  Where might and magic cannot get the job done, his quick talking and fast wit can.  Though he feels totally useless when standing near his good friend, he does not let it bring him down too much, as he knows he had a large hand in helping Greylen become what he is today.

Drakon Name:  Lord Drakon the Whirlwind
Race:  Human
Age:  61
Height: 6'1"
Rank:  Grand Templar of the Triark Dragoons
Choice Weapon:  Sword of the Wind
Background:  Before he settled down in the lands set aside for the Triark Dragoons by the late King Ulmerad, little was known about Drakon.  It has been said that he helped repel the massive forces of the Necromancer Ethelred before the Immortal War that tried to destroy the former country of Conalia.  When King Garalt searched out to awaken his innate Dragoon powers, Drakon decided then to join his quest to rid the realm of Tel'Karak Zrahl.  Drakon played a large role in the Immortal War, standing beside King Garalt through the entire ordeal.  After the Immortal War, the Triark Dragoons were given land on which to settle down, ending centuries of nomadic life.  The word spread like wildfire through the ranks of the Triark, and it did not take long for a sizable population gathered in the new homeland.  Though most villages are nervous with dragon worshipers so close to home, they are comforted by the protection such warriors and pet dragons provide the countryside.  Though Drakon had conceded overall rule to Ikros, the Triark lands would be ruled as their own state, and Drakon for his role in acquiring it was raised to the leader of the Triark.  Drakon has been a firm, fair, and incredible leader to the Triark people.  So grateful are the Triark to Ikros that they have deemed themselves as the unofficial Ikrosian Honor Guard.  They have sworn no foreign force will ever take hold of Ikros while a Triark remains alive.  Drakon and King Garalt have kept in close contact over the years, the Lord of the Triark visits almost monthly with an entourage of his best warriors.
Character:  Drakon is a very intelligent and shrewd individual.  His years of wandering the world have taught him much, and never fails to take advantage of his accrued wisdom.  Though he seems gruff and cold on the outside, Drakon is in reality a very caring and loving man.  He regularly accepts quests to aide the helpless, and cares for every Triark in his realm as if they were his own blood. Drakon's skills as a dragoon are great, even among his peers.  He gained the nickname Whirlwind due to his unnaturally fast attacking speed, fast even for a dragoon.  Unlike most dragoons, he wields a sword rather than a pike or halberd, but his speed makes up for the lost distance attacks.

Garn Name:  Garn the Patriarch
Race:  Human
Age:  62
Height: 5'11"
Rank:  Patriarch of the Paladins of Ikros
Choice Weapon:  Paladin Sword
Background:  Garn had worked hard in his youth to become a great Paladin, and his diligence awarded him the rank of Third Paladin.  However, corruption in the Patriarch Jerren caused Garn to fake his own death in order to discover Jerren's true motives.  During that time, Garn joined ranks with Garalt, and took a major role in the Immortal War.  After the war, Garn took it upon himself to rebuild the Order of Huldrain, as his old comrades had all been slain at the Council's hand.  Settling down in Ikros Capitol, Garn and his then new wife Ceness slowly began training a new order of Paladins.  However, several years later the Paladins of Ikros took notice of a great plague in the Eastern realms, and sent off a large group of Paladins to give aide to the afflicted people.  Ceness herself, along with her sister Chell and good friend Rikio volunteered to accompany and protect the young paladins on their journey.  According to eyewitness accounts, the Paladins were doing well to quell the plague, until they all contracted the disease.  The Paladins and their protectors were all struck down quickly, and soon the rest of the affected people.  Those lucky enough to escape the disease never returned to the area.  Garn mourned the death of his wife for many years, refusing to train any more Paladins and hiding himself away.  Fortunately for his order, however, he had already trained several Paladins enough for them to temporarily take over in his absence.  Only recently has Garn involved himself in public affairs once more, much to the delight of his students.
Character:  Time has not been kind to Garn, and though he is still strong, his features are whithered and wrought with years of anguish.  Garn was a reserved but relatively light hearted individual throughout the majority of his life.  He took the death fo Ceness, however, very hard.  Now he is almost hollow, doing what he must to keep his order alive, but little else.  Recently there has been talk in the highest ranks of the Order that Garn will soon step down, making room for a more virile leader.

Swift-Strike Name:  Swift-Strike the Berserker
Race:  Elf
Age:  ?
Height: 5'11"
Rank:  ?
Choice Weapon:  Battle Axe
Background:  Anyone who claims to know much about this enigmatic elf is telling stories.  Swift-Strike was first noticed by the Ikrosian forces in the Mercenary town of Corincia shortly before the advent of the Immortal War, and was soon enlisted by Sir Haleron of the Old Guard to aide Ikros against the legions of the Council.  King Garalt, a knight at the time, allowed Swift-Strike to join his party to gather the three immortal dragons to defeat Tel-Karak Zrahl.  After the conclusion of the Immortal War, Swift-Strike dissappeared, only to be seen now.  He has only been seen in shadows and in the edges of crowds, but the Ikrosian Guard have taken notice of him.  A rogue elf such as he, with his abilites to dissappear and blend in, would have to be allowing himself to be seen in such ways.  No one truly knows just why Swift-Strike has reappeared, but all agree it cannot mean good things for Ikros.
Character:  Swift-Strike is strong, quick, and soft spoken.  He is a powerful fighter, gifted in both melee combat and ranged attacks with his axe.  Though he choses to remain a mystery, it is known that he is a loyal to some order or group that oversees the happenings of the world.  Fortunately for Ikros, they have found an ally in Swift-Strike, and even perhaps his order.
