Background: Through most of his natural life, Garn has spent his time in the Order of Huldrain. He became a powerful paladin, and eventually rose to the rank of 3rd paladin. However, because of Jerren's questionable behavior, and because no one can leave the Order except through death, Garn faked his own demise. He has spent the last few years following Jerren, trying to get close enough to stop him from his ill conceived plot.
Character: Garn is a very stern and proud man, and it pains him to see the Order of Huldrain turned into the brute squad it is. Because of his discontent with Jerren's actions, Garn believes he cannot wear the paladin helm he owns, due to it's religious significance. He now wears a black, non magical copy as testament to his discontent.

Name: Ceness
Age: 19
Height: 5'5"
Choice Weapon: Sword of the Wind, Sword of the Flame
Background: Raised as a blacksmith's daughter, Ceness and her older sister trained to be swordsmen. Both women became strong fighters. However, during one of Jerren's campaigns through the country side, Ceness' older sister was conscripted into the Order of Huldrain. Cenness now believes her sister has been brainwashed, and is on a quest to free her.
Character: Ceness' life has been turned upside down with the loss of her older sister. Bent with rage, she now only lives to return her sister to their parents, who were destroyed with losing them both. Her heart has become cold, and she knows that the life on the road she has lead will one day destroy her if she does not finish her quest soon.

Name: Rikio
Age: 18
Height: 5'8"
Choice Weapon: Ice Brand Pike
Background: Rikio grew up in a very small and peaceful farming community. However, Jerren came through one summer afternoon while Rikio had been playing in the forest. Jerren claimed her village to be impure, and slaughtered all who lived there. Upon her return, Rikio vowed vengeance against whoever destroyed her family. She went out and trained with whomever would train her, and eventually found her magical pike. Now she follows Jerren, waiting for her time for revenge.
Character: Rikio is a very polar individual. Torn between the want to be nothing more than a care free woman and a warrior seeking revenge, Rikio can lose herself in emotions easily. However, this is not necessarily her weakness, as her rage can be focused into her attacks, and makes her very dangerous to her foe.

Name: Durall
Age: 25
Height: 5'9"
Choice Weapon: Whatever the situation calls for
Background: Not much is known about Durall. It is known that he was abandoned at a young age, creating the independent and deadly mercenary that he is today. He was hired by Daravon to track down the evil Lord Ethelred's base of operations.
Character: Young and brash, there isn't anything he won't do if the price is right. He hates over planning, and prefers to work on the fly, only thinking far enough ahead to the next stage. Incredibly intelligent, few have outfoxed this fox, and he's not above 'borrowing' from anyone in order to make a profit. He recently teamed up with Jooret and Lahg to aid in his ever growing schemes for profit, though he enjoys the company even more.

Name: Jooret
Age: 19
Height: 5'6"
Choice Weapon: Whatever the situation calls for
Background: Jooret has just started his career as a mercenary. Recently graduating from the Corincia Training Academy, he convinced Durall to take him under his wing and teach him further.
Character: Jooret is young and headstrong. He finds entertainment in anything with risk, and it usually pits him against Lahg in an ever going battle of wit. Though he'd never admit it, he looks up to Lahg, though he enjoys they're constant throwing of insults.

Name: Lahg
Age: 48
Height: 5'7"
Choice Weapon: Sabre
Background: Lahg has a long career as a mercenary. He has served king and pauper alike, each and every time presenting results. Now, in his aging state, he has teamed up with Durall and Jooret so that he can continue his lifestyle.
Character: Though his age slows him down, Lahg never lets it on. He is a proud man, and cannot stand the thought of growing old and useless. His greatest fear is to be forced to settle down and be taken care of. Lahg never is found without some word of wisdom to give the young Jooret, which is always met with some retort about the elderly. Lahg never backs down from returning with an insult about youth. Lahg looks at Jooret like the son he never had, though you'd never get him to admit it.

Name: Skoll
Age: 28
Height: 5'4"
Choice Weapon: Whatever the situation calls for
Background: Leader of the Shadow Wolves, hired by Ethelred to spy on Ulmerad's kingdom. He is having second thoughts about his dealings with the necromancer.
Character: Although wily, Skoll is relatively spineless, usually valuing his personal safety above a job. His bravery is bolstered by the price of the job at hand.

Name: Lockjaw

Height: 5'5"
Choice Weapon: Long Sword
Background: Little is known about Lockjaw's past, though he has been seen around Corincia for the past several years. It is rumored that he has made a deal with the Necromancer Ethelred, but no one can be sure.
Character: Lockjaw is like a shadow, unexpected when seen, hard to catch and disapears quickly. His skills as a thief are admirable, though his fighting skills could use some improvement. Most of his battles end in his quick retreat.

Name: Demonclaw

Choice Weapon: Dual Clawed Staff
Background: Demoncalw's origins are unknown. He has kept to himself, save his companion Greylen, and travels the world in search of something. His motives are indeed mysterious. Whatever he and Greylen search for, it is certain that nothing will stand in their way to get it.
Character: Demonclaw is a powerful fighter. His large staff require him to wear little restrictive armor in order to use it, so he relies on stealth and speed to get the job done. His skills as a warrior are superb, which comes in handy when rescuing Greylen from whatever situation he's gotten himself into. Though he acts tough, underneath his gruff exterior lies a heart of gold.

Choice Weapon: Mystic Staff, Emerald Scepter
Background: Greylen has traveled with Demonclaw for it seems quite some time. His magical abilities are unkown in Ikros, and some say his true powers are yet to be seen. He travels with Demonclaw in search of something, though neither will ever discuss what it is.
Character: Greylen is timid, almost clumsily so. But when truly provoked he can unleash a torrent of destruction that amazes even the greatest of mages. He seems to rely on Demonclaw for most of his protection, however.

Name: Mull-gahat

Choice Weapon: Spear, rabid monkey
Background: Mull-gahat has been a mercenary in Corincia for years, but no one has ever been able to discover his origin. It is said that he came from the south, beyond the shores of Valk. He has always sat alone when not on a job, either making his home made weapons or talking to his trained monkey in his strange native language.
Character: Mull-gahat says little more than one word sentances, and most comments are met with low, growling grunts. He remains inaproachable, but this tower of a man is a skilled mercenary, and will do whatever he is paid to do without hesitation.

Name: Dehg

Choice Weapon: Pick Axe
Background: Most of Dehg's past can be traced to any bar. His love for liquor has sent him through more than one bar fight, which he usually wins. He has only become a mercenary to pay for his ever growing tab.
Character: Dehg's ancestry is that of the barbarians of Valk, and he won't hesitate to remind you of it. His fighting skills include many grunts and war cries, but are effective none the less.

Name: Nightwatcher

Background: Nightwatcher is an ex-memeber of the Karkos royal guard. After being cast out for some unknown reason, he now wanders, working to survive.
Character: Nightwatcher is swift to attack, and seems to be always on guard. Surprise noises are usually met with drawn sword and a blood lust.

Name: Swift-Strike the Berserker

Choice Weapon: Battle Axe
Background: Swift-Strike is a mercenary from unknown origin. His armor and shield are that unlike anyone in Ikros has ever seen. When asked, he usually just changes the subject, or shuts up entirely.
Character: Swift-Strike is a loner, a very private man. So private in fact that his nickname is all that anyone calls him, as he has never given his real name. His fighting skills are profound, but he rarely ever engages anyone unless physically threatened.

Name: Yerek the Enforcer
Age: 26
Height: 5'8"
Choice Weapon: Crossbow, Battle Axe
Background: Yerek was once one of the Corincia guard, charged with keeping order in the city. Unsatisfied with his way of life, he took up the yolk of a mercenary, and has become quite successful. Most of the rest of his past remains his secret.
Character: Yerek is a jovial man at heart, though he tries to hide it. Unfortunately, his mirth usually boils out into an unwelcomed stab at someone else's ego, and he has many scars from his lack of social graces.
