About the Dragon
The Legs and Feet
The dragon's feet are attached to the ankle using eight 1x1 'headlight' bricks, holding the four click hinges to the foot. The toes and how they work are discussed in the hands section.
The hind legs, seen here in the wing picture, do not have near the movement of the forearms. The extra movement was sacrificed to allow th dragon greater stability when standing. This is the solution to the problem Pawel Nazarewicz ran into with his dragon. The ankle and knee are both click hing joints, and there is only one swivel joint at the hip. With no movement away from the body, Tel'Karak can stand much more easily than War. However, this also requires certain fixes to be made to the joints to give them strength. These are discussed in the neck and tail section.
