About the Dragon

The Hands

The dragon's hands are built to mimic human hands.  Differences, of course, include the missing fourth finger and a thumb with three joints.  With the cover plates removed, one can see how the fingers work.  Aside from their click hinge movement abilities, the fingers can swivel back and forth.  What allows them to do this is the prolific use of 1x1 round plates, allowing the square finger bases to move slightly.  The thumb is given the most freedom of movement, with no 1x1 round plates to move against.
