They had been walking for hours now, the sun was high in the sky in the middle of the second day of their journey.  Their two new companions had been less than specific as to what they were exactly looking for.  But the two did have an air of trustworthiness about them, and they had yet done anything to create doubt in that trust.  After all, they had given up their mounts for to help out their cause.  But now the group's patience was beginning to wear thin, marching for days on end without knowing their destination was becoming tiresome.

Kullvox suddenly stopped in the middle of their march through the forest and turned around.  Facing Greylen and Demonclaw, his face was showing much aggravation.
"All right, we go no further," Kullvox was obviously fed up with the two new travelers, "I want to know why we are taking you to the Grannelian Plains and I want to know NOW."
"Very well," Greylen sighed, "it's only fair that you know.  For many years now, Demonclaw and myself have been traveling together in search of a magical power.  We have our reasons for finding it, but what is important is that we have tracked it down to somewhere in Ikros."

"And from what you said last night," Demonclaw added, "we believe that this power is located there, on the Grannelian Plains.  From all the stories you say originate from there, what we're looking for must be there."
"And this power you're looking for.... what is it?" Garalt said in a low tone.
    "A tower." Demonclaw answered.
"The Tower of Olyian," Greylen jumped in, "Olyian was a most powerful sorcerer, and though he is long since dead, his tower remains, and its powers wait to be harnessed once more."
"But there are no towers there, there aren't even any buildings of any sort." Kullvox said frustrated.
"Trust me," Greylen chuckled, "it's there."
Kullvox shook his head and continued walking.  Garalt began to feel the same frustration that Kullvox was, but the Grannelian Plains were not far off, and the whole mystery would be solved shortly.
