Before any of them could react, the large rock face behind Garalt began to lift up from the ground.  Garalt was thrown forward onto the ground as dust and small rocks rained down upon the cave floor.  A large, snarling, growling head rose from the dirt and rocks, its mouth slowly opened revealing razor sharp teeth.
"Everyone! Take cover!"  Kullvox ordered, and everyone complied.
As the huge beast lifted its chest off the ground, the group found themselves each behind three boulders in the cave.  Garalt peered from behind his boulder and began reporting to the rest.
"My God!  It's a dragon!  And it's huge!"  Garalt whispered in a hushed shout.  The group began to look at each other.  Garn and Demonclaw were behind the boulder closest to the dragon's head.  The next boulder hid Kullvox and Garalt, and the third had Greylen and Moraine.  Greylen was on his knees, his eyes closed in fear.
The whole cave was filled with the sound of falling debris as the dragon lifted itself and shook itself off.
"The dragon seems too big to stand up in this cave, he can only get up on his knees, Kullvox," Garalt whispered to his comrade.
"We've all got to get out of here and now!" Kullvox whispered to the group.
As the dragon lifted itself further, Garalt noticed the beast's long tail whipping around the cave floor, kicking up large clouds of dust and moving dangerously close to Moraine and Greylen.
