    Suddenly Garalt felt a rush of warmth upon his feet.  Looking down he discovered the cause, he was on fire!  Garalt began to panic and scream in pain from the flames burning him.
    "Garalt! Calm down, accept the pain, this is the trial."
    Garalt held himself still has the flames grew higher and higher.  They began crawling up his body, the intense feelings of pain shot through his body as his flesh was devoured by the flames.  Garalt could feel tears pouring out over his face.

    Garalt began to scream, a horrible, deafening scream as the pain was too much for him to bare.  He could feel his flesh boiling and falling off of his body.
    "Garalt, hear my words, focus your thoughts, there is no pain.  There is no fire.  There is no damage to you at all."
    Garalt could not even comprehend anything the dragoon was saying.  The fire was so intense, the pain was so sharp, Garalt could do nothing but let out his anguish in his screaming.
    "Focus Garalt, focus, become the flame!"
    Garalt could feel the fire inside him, he began to wonder how he could still stand up, his legs must have been burnt away long ago.  The fire was so intense, it burned his eyes, his throat, every part of him.  But suddenly, everything became clear in Garalt's mind.  Clear.  Whole.  Garalt could feel the flame.  Not the burning sensation on his skin, but as if he could feel what the flame touched.  Garalt raised his hands and let forth an incredible yell, not in pain but in anger, and the flames shot out away from him like a thousand arrows.
